purpose:
The HR Specialist will provide administrative and project coordination support for the Americas Human Resource Department. Projects will range in scope and will support a variety of HR business needs. This individual must possess exceptional attention to detail with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Description:
Update, maintain and audit integrity of all human resources systems data (Oracle)
Create, maintain and monitor all
employee
personnel files
Prepare HRIS reports
Reconciliation of payroll and PTO (paid time off)
Manage service and recognition awards program
Respond to employment verifications
Process unemployment claims
Other duties or projects as assigned
Job Requirements

Associate's degree with 2+ years working in an HR environment or equivalent combination of related experience required
HRIS experience required
Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
General understanding of human resources practices and procedures
Excellent organizational skills
Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
The ability to work independently and as a team player
The ability to function in a highly confidential environment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
