Quick Apply Full-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description We are a growing Drywall and Metal Framing subcontractor looking to add a dedicated Project Manager to our team! We have grown into one of the larger Subcontractors in the area, and have in turn branched out into other trades.
As we grow, the quantity and scope of our jobs continues to expand, and we are looking to expand our team of estimators and project managers.
A Construction Project Manager, or Commercial Construction Project Manager, plans and oversees the building process of various construction projects from start to finish.
Their duties include material takeoffs, organizing manpower and deliveries, processing change order requests, submitting RFIs, etc.
Responsibilities Determine and define scope of work and deliverables Predict resources needed to complete project Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites Draft and submit change orders based on requests, drawing changes, etc.
Manage costs in order to meet budget Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts Manage construction schedule and activities Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors Qualifications for Construction Project Manager Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in project management preferred Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings Proficient in Microsoft Office, Takeoff Software (OST, Stack, etc.
), and Spreadsheets Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions Strong leadership and management skills Job Type:
